This old Lega mask dated from the mid of the 20th century and comes with a certificate of Authenticity.

These masks were used for initiation ceremonies. Lega masks always have special facial shapes. It is carved from one piece of wood and has beautiful geometric patterns. They are rubbed with white kaolin powder with each use and then displayed on a fence (see photo).
