This Dogon stool was dated mid 20th century and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
This is a beautifully eroded stool from the Dogon tribe in the town Ireli of Mali, West Africa. A great example with a textural weathering of the wood showing its ancient age. Made from an African hardwood. The patina is an artistic event. It is rare to find a stool with all these ancestral figures, especially with these dimensions and such an old patina. We guarantee that this item has been used indigenously.
